Raechal
Fish Gatherer
Okay so my mom was yard saling this morning and she calls me up at around 8:30 a.m. to tell me some guy is selling his 55 gallon for $50.00 with a nice black stand, all of the accessories and fish! So I woke up threw some old shirt on and some jeans and shoes and flew out the door! My mom picked me up and we went to check it out.
There was algae all over the tank and the gravel REALLY needed to be vacuumed but aside from that everything was in perfect shape! He had 2 clown loaches, about 10 tiger barbs (adult and some even pregnant) some weird rasboras (I think they are rasboras) some albino type of tetra I believe, some black skirt tetra and a pleco.
The pleco will stay in the 55 gallon to clean the algae since the tank will be by a window but when he gets bigger he will be transferred to the 120 gallon.
The loaches will also be in the 120 gallon. They are only about 4 inches now and he has had them 2 years but I think they will do better in the 120 gallon. I will also try to pick up atleast 2 more for their sake.
So I will set it up and then show some pics!
Think I got a good deal?
Oh yea, I forgot to tell you...I think my mom is more excited about the fish tank than I am! She is like "Omg I can't wait to set it up it will be so nice in the living room!" She told me that I am getting her hooked on fish and I told her it was highly addictive. I mean look at me, I started with a 10 gallon last december and then a 29 gallon a month lather and then a 120 gallon a month later and now a 55 gallon a month later!
