Wow what gorgeous little fishes i just got today, 3 Wasp Fish.
Funny from what i have read they are usually quite stationary however these 3 are all over the tank.
I think they have settled already as they have all eaten already.

Will try and get Photos tonight, which i will post separately on the photo gallery part of the forum i will put a link from here to there :)

EDIT:Speling

Reading more about them from Neale Monks website his description of their behavior is just like the way mine are behaving.
They are fun to watch indeed :)

If I had a brackish tank, those would be on the list, have you fed them yet, if so what are they eating?

Waiting for pics,
shroob

Im tempted by a couple for my Fig8 tank, just havent got round to doing any research as yet...need to make sure they are Bumblebee Goby friendly :)

They have eaten live food only, bloodworm and brine shrimp so far.

When fully grown bumblebee gobys will not be safe, they will be food so i am led to believe :(

Sweet!! :hyper: Welcome to the world of wasp fishes! I only have 1, but it is 2 inches long now. I have ordered some more from live aquaria.com but they dont have any in stock. I am just paitently  waiting...

They will eat bumble bee gobies!! I bought one a while back just to get some variety, but as soon as the wasp fish seen him he was on the HUNT! So i netted the BBG and took it back to the LFS for credit.

How big are yours? I know the smaller ones are a pain to keep. Its good that they are eating brineshrip. My larger one wont touch anything unless it moves.

I have a post here about my tank, lots of pics of my waspfish in it.
