That many cichlids in that size tank will fight, yes. Try to talk some sense into your mother... people who don't keep fish just don't understand sometimes, try explaining how large your barbs could eventually get.

I have no idea.. Im not a species tank keeper... research the fish on the internet and have a look what they are compatable with, look at the size of them, show your mum and tell her that they will not all fit into the tank and go through fish with her and speak with her about it and see what you can both come up with. Its always good to research your fish before you buy. I made that mistake of not doing that once and ended up with 2 huge Oscars and had to give them away.. I will never make that mistake again.

I know from personal EXPERENCE that the Parrot Fish will become "Somewhat" Aggressive as they get Older.

I would say it will at the VERY LEAST Rule the Tank once it gets bigger.

But that is entirely tooooooo Many in the Tank you've got, With the Type you want too keep...
