And so far my lil guys seem to be happy and helthy! Fingers crossed...

When I was changing the water I noticed that the water got real cloudy and look blueish.. The gravel in my tank is blue. Is it normal or possible that there could be sand or dye or something that gets stirred up while I am using the gravel cleaner? Is that normal? Or is there possibley something wrong with my gravel?

Thanx so much for any and all help! And also thanx so much for the pinned message on step by step water change.. That was a life saver!

Hello and welcome to the forum. :hi:

It's possible that there is still some dust left in the gravel and that it got stirred up. Did you wash/rinse it good before adding the gravel to the tank? A slightly cloudy appearance is normal, especially on larger water changes. When you add the water, are you allowing it to strike the gravel and disturb it? That can also cause a cloud if there is any dust or trash in the gravel.
