Well I have finally completed the game heavy Rain only for the PS3, if you haven’t played it yet I advise you to get it. Basically its a game where you play four different characters through out an investigation, You search for a killer called the origami killer, who kidnaps boys and gets the fathers to complete various tasks in order to save their sons. The one thing that really astonishes me about this game is the graphics, they are truly awsome and the transition between gameplay and cut scenes is pretty much seamless.
You play a father called Ethan Mars, who has had is son kidnapped and he is in a race against time to save his him, he has to complete various tasks to prove his love for his son in order to save his life.
You play a woman called Madison, who helps Ethan solve the riddles and helps him through out the game.
You play a private investigator who is on the trail of the origami killer, he is helped by a woman who has already lost her son to the killer.
and you play an FBI agent who has teamed up with a local police leutenant to catch the killer.
Each person has their own story to follow and their own decisions to make which are all desicive to how the game pans out. if you make wrong choices at key parts then the game can turn out with a different ending, eg (the boys dies, father kills himself etc...killer gets away) or vice versa ( Ithink maybe six different endings are possible.
the games result depends on what desicions you make throughout the game. you decide basically how it ends depending on your judgement and co-ordination.
Withoiut out too many spoils I manage to save the boy kill the killer but the FBi agent quit his job.
ALthough I managed the main goal I think I could have had a better outcome (arrested the killer and saved the FBI agent from quitting.) So I am going to go back over all the levels I think I messed up on.
Has anyone else played it? what outcome have you had?
