I've been checking this forum from time to time and getting a lot of good information from you 'more experienced' aquarium keepers, I bought my first fish today, 6 cherry barbs, they seem to be doing fine and enjoying their new home

Just want to say thanks for the help I've received being a newbie

If I'm included in the "more experienced aquarium keepers" then your very welcome. I'm glad you researched before you jumped into the hobby. I didn't. I think the leading cause of MTS may be not researching fish before you purchase...you know that bala shark that you've fallen in love with and can't let go of just has to go somewhere, and he simply can't stay in that little 10g
