any one ever mixed these with female betta splenden ?

seen for sale a small group of Betta imbellis.

now at the moment i have my 20G tank, and my 15G

my 20G is currently houseing my 1 male, and 1 female betta (divided)

my 15G is ticking over waiting for the new betta's to arrive from soph again also divided.

now my query is , would it be ok to keep the Betta imbellis with my one female betta in my 20G divided tank.

i have also asked the person selling them, he says my female may chase them for a little while, but will more then likely be ok.

my female doesent really show much aggression even though my male will still happily flare at her from the other side of the divider

any info would be much appreciated

i would say no, IME the females terrorized the male imbellis and really beat them up.
