Just A Little Advice Please?

5th week fishless cycle following rrd1952 's pinned post.

All going as to plan. Ammonia going over night (adding more) nitrIte rising to off scale.

Now (at last) nitrIte dropping, still adding and loosing ammonia.

NOW THIS;
For the second time nitrIte gone completely over night but ammonia still present (about 2) when usually it goes as well over night. NitrAte is up around 40 so the process is working.

Is all this usual

I had that happen towards the end of my cycle on my 75gal. Just stick with it. I think for me that went on about a week and then my tank showed finally cycled.
