just a filter no airstone

will that be okay? My brother has a 3g container and we put a filter on it. He wanted to put some fish in there w/out getting an airstone, but is that okay? The water doent seem to be moving at the end of it. Will the fish die w/out an airstone?

I assume the filter has a powerhead and the water is circulating? I don't have an airstone in my 21G and never have, and I've never had any problems

yup, power head. I think he wants to put minnows in there.
