It also depends on the betta you have!

So it would be a really bad idea to have a firce betta with a angelfish, a peaceful one on the other hand would be just fine And the tank size also have to be ok...

And the tank size also have to be ok...Well im going to get yelled at like simonA but they are in a 10g tank at the moment only cos i was stupid and didnt read up about them and went out bought them and put them in.... I have a 17g cycling at the moment which they will be going into till i have enough money for a new tank which shouldnt be long... Would a beta be alright in the 10g tank with them?dixaisy930

Bettas really differ when it comes to community compatibilty. I would say try it, and keep a VERY close eye on the situation. I would definately have another tank (or backup plan) if things don't go o.k.
No one will jump down your throat for that... It was an easy mistake to make, and you have a plan to improve the situation. Don't worry...we've all (well, most lol) have made mistakes like that.

uhhhh.... my little sister bought a red peacful betta and put it in her 10g and BAM! Flare city! I woudln't do it then.
