OK so my gourami situation, if anyone knows about it already, is still not going well. Things looked fine for a while and I didn't treat because I just don't like to. Now one of them has red at the base of one of her pectoral fins, and she is holding it close to her instead of waving it around as usual. She is also skittish when I approach the tank, which is unusual. So I am going to treat, but first I want to try something that won't affect the bio filter. I have this Jungle brand Fungus Clear that I think cleared up an unknown bacterial problem I had with a pleco in another tank. He is doing much better and eating better since treatment. But all my hornwort in the tank is defoliating from it. HUGE mess, the tank was literally half full of the stuff. So I'm wondering if it is bad for plants, as my gourami tank is planted with a lot more than hornwort, I wouldn't want everything to fall apart.

The active ingredients are nitrofurazone, furazolidone, and potassium dichromate.

Thanks ahead of time. I have posted in the emergency section as well in hopes that someone there may know. I'd like a quick answer because I don't want to put this off. Usually I don't double post. I promise it won't be a regular thing!

You could take the hornwort out? and/or put a smal bit in a pot and test out the treatment?
