Our nine-year old cave dweller took a chance this evening and evded up under our bookcase. He was stuck to the carpet, trying to breathe. I put him back in the tank (he's in there with one old tetra and a cory catfish), but don't have any more slime coat to put in there with him. He's never done this before, and I'm at a loss for what to do, if anything. Can these guys stand a little aquarium salt?

I'm not going to be an awful lot of help I'm afraid, but I know cories don't like salt and it could kill him.

How long was he out of the tank, if not long he should be ok, if a while there slime coat drys up, don't add salt with corys.
