Jumbo Balloon Mollie ..

Hi guys.

My Jumbo Balloon Molly that I bought yesterday with some other fish, is exploding..

literally.

She is so fat she can't even swim properly

I love her to bits already, and having all my fish healthy and if so, drop fry safely and limited stress. I tried putting her in the breeder trap, but she refused to drop in there, so I took her out. Now shes swimming around the heater, the filters, plants ect. and shes showing all signs, even the gravid spot.

The most visible is her anal hole opening up (about a centimeter now), and the white speck is definitely there.

What should I do?

Shes dropping right now. Shes had around 20 now, four have been eaten, one has died.

what are you feeding the fry? I would recommend liquifry no.3 and hikari first bites as they are in powder form and are very high in protien.

I broke an algae wafer in half, my fry tend to peck at it, especially when it softens up.

I also feed them nutrifin basix staple food

the staple food has 46% crude protein min., 5% crude fat min., 2% crude fiber max., 8% moisture max.

and yes I'm currently looking for liquifry, found none atm.
