Hi all, just wondering,
Could i get a group of Julidochromis (any species really), and have them in a 2ft 100L tank?
Or should i get a few, let a pair form then sell the others?
Thanks, :)

Have heard mixed reports of what works for one person doesn't work for another, the best is the rule of thumb method , of getting say 6, let them pair up and move the extra ones on.... saves a bloodbath................................ :good:

Cheers, Sean

Plus once you have a pair the juvies are allowed to stay and help raise their younger siblings. So, eventually you would have a tank full of julies.

Julies have got such small mouths its hard to see how they would do much damage to each other. But they do get quite territorial and chase each other a lot. If you had loads and loads of rocks in there you could have 4 or 5 transcriptus or ornatus with no problem I would've thought.
