Julidochromis Regani Marlieri Gombi

Ok, well you might remember that I set up a Tang tank about a month or two ago and I bought supposedly 3 juvenile ornatus from a lfs. But after the fish coloured up I found out that I was actually sold 2 ornatus and 1 regani. I decided the regani actually looked great and took the other two back, but the had no regani in stock.

what I was wondering, after reading numerous articles (including the one on Julis in PFK), was could I add a couple of Gombi or Marlieri as they have been described as being a form of regani?

I still think it`s mixing them which is not idea IMO, I`d hang fire and get some more Regani.

thanks, anyone else have an opinion on this? I am a bit wary of it myself, but regani are the only ones I cannot find!...and it's been a while!
Also if these other variations are just different colour morphs of Regani then surely it is not hybridising?
