hey guys im just wanting everyone to have a look at my pk and tell me what you think

when i breed him i want to know what i should be trying to improve

this is the girl i will breed to him
they are pretty close in colouring the girl is just a darker orange and has more red

The girl is a VT, and the VT gene is dominant so the fry will be mostly veiltails.

The male has wild colouration, beautiful bright colours and well marked with a strong cambodian gene. The female has very even rays in her tail, more so than his, so that could be a good improvement. Personally I think he's a little thick in the body, but it's hard to know what to use to correct that, because often skinny females are just sickly or have been fed too little when young. So just see what you get - it's a nice pair and the fry will probably be very nice.

i took that photo when he was in a tank with 8 females it was when i first realised he was a male he has just gone into his new tank today and he loves it and made a bubble nest straight away
