Judge Blasts Jeremy Kyle Show As 'trash'

"A judge has branded The Jeremy Kyle Show "a form of human bear-baiting" at a court case in Manchester.

District Judge Alan Berg said the ITV1 daytime programme was "trash" and existed to "titillate bored members of the public with nothing better to do".

The judge made the comments while sentencing one of the show's guests, who head-butted his love rival during filming earlier this year";

What?! I think Jeremy Kyle kicks ass! So what if you get a few idiots on the show every now and then that loose their cool and get out of hand, its their fault if they make themselves look like fools, Jeremy does nothing to encourage their behaviour.

In a world where political correctness is getting way out of hand and we are constantly making excuses for each other, Jeremy Kyle is like a breath of fresh air, he talks a lot of sense and tells people what they need to hear, even if the truth isn't easy to swallow.

At the end of every show he gives you the topic for his next pile of sh!t show "has you're partner cheated and are you finding it hard to trust again, then call this number"

Why?....what can you really do to help ya roaster? Just a talk alot of pish and make yourself feel like a big man at the expence of other peoples misfortune?

Personally Id go on the show just to drop the head on that pr!ck myself.

How is he self-obsessed? Just because someone has their own show, does that mean they are self obsessed?

If Superman saved a person from self-destruction and felt good about himself for doing it, would you hate superman for finding satisfcation for doing something good in this world?

I don't get you...On the one hand, you go on about how you hate JK, but on the other hand you strongly indicate that you think the people who go on his shows are idiots and you hate teenagers who hang around shops (you call them *rseholes). Whose side are you on? Or do you just hate the world in general?

So is getting a man who hasn't worked for the last 20 years and just gambled his money away, to stop gambling and start working an honest job again a load of "pish"? To get a man the help he needs to control his anger, or get the support a underage teenage mum needs from her childs father, or to convince a girl not to go into prostitution is all just "pish"? Or do you just hate people doing good things like that?


You may not like him, but he's helped a great deal of people out- and it isn't just a talk show, after people have finished they go back stage and get the longer term conselling and professional advise they need to sort out their lives. You occasionally see catch up shows where he checks out people's progress too, so you know people aren't just dumped and ignored after they've been on the show.

I don't think the Jeremy Kyle show is anything like the Jerry Springer show, there's no real comparision between the shows since they are gone about in completely different ways.

Lol same here, though the thing that bugs me is just the REALLY long pause he takes just before he reads out the results, like

jeremy kyle is a crap tv show and i cant beleive so many people like it i have spoke to some one whos been on the show and he just makes the innocent people look like a right w***** jusy to get a good show if your sat at home watching crap like that u need to get out more lol

I have to admit though, i do love Dead Ringers (they kick ass too), they do make a point. However Dead Ringers can thoroughly take the p*ss out of almost any aspect of society or government, they do have a talent for that there.

People like it because its entertainment, which in essence is what every program on TV is about depending on how you look at it- the JK show is not everyone's cup of tea just like anything in life though, for example i depise Big Brother, X factor, Celebrity love island and of all that other rubbish that the tv produces- but i understand that for other people, such shows could be the TV highlight of their week, just like how Hero's is for me, and Rome was before that etc.
You shouldn't insult people though just because they're not into the same TV programs as you are- so what if i sometimes have spare time on my hands in the morning or afternoon, so what if i like to turn on the tv while i'm having my morning cup of tea or eating my lunch, and watch a little JK? I'm not just gonna sit there eating in silence, and there's nothing wrong if the JK show happens to be my choice of morningtime/daytime tv to watch when i'm having a break.

How was the person you know of made to look like a right w***** though anyway? IMO He probably at least said some things which contributed to his own downfall.

Couple of points here....

1. Threatening someone over the internet is, in non pc terminology anyway, rather retarded...even if I do find it very funny also.
