hay all. just thaught i would let you know that i landed myself a job at the local aquarium that i go to the other day.
and that ill be starting in about 2 weeks. i cant wait and just thaught id share it with y'all.
i will be the youngest there at only being 16yo. but nonethe less. it will definatly help with my learning of the finer things of fish keeping and it also gives me the opportunity to help other fellow fish keepers in doubt.
im extatic.

That's brilliant. Probably a more rewarding job than other 16 year olds get, like say Mc Donalds, or the supermarket. You'll learn heaps, and get paid for it too. Good Luck .

aquarium/fish store.... nothing but your general fish keeping needs and they also have some specialist fish as well.... some raries as well but i cant remember the names......
i agree with you there branjie. my mum wanted me to work at maccas and i told her: NO WAY!!!
i have a few mates that work there and the storries i have heard. i just couldnt do it. i hate working with food as well.
im a regular at this aquarium so i might get even more discounts. hehe..... i use to work at an iga/richies and it was easy money for teh work load given but plain ol boring when it came to stocking shelves for 4 hours a night.... i got sick and tired of it and left. now i have a job that is mingled in with my passion and i shouldnt have any problems.
i cant wait.

Congrats!!! I'm so jealous. I'm actually thinking of seeing if the two decent lfs's near me have any vacancies coming up, tech support is driver me nuts and I would love to work in a fish shop.
