My jewel cichlids are scared a lot of the time...lately they have been hiding under plants pretty much terrified. I know your not supposed to add anything in with them but could I maybe get away with keeping some tetras in with them? at least while they are still small?
If I cant add any other fish what can I do make them less scared? I already have a lot of plants in the tank.
