do i need to replace the white floss filter every week. and should i replace the carbon filter for something diffrent or just replace it with carbon why is it in anyway when some people dont add treatments to water shouldnt they add this when they want to remove it ???

Get rid of the floss, it will only make the filter less effective, also the carbon only needs to be there when removing contaminants that you don't want in the tank such as meds or tannins etc, The green and blue never need replacing.

i have a rio 125 with built in filter so what media should be in it? just now is 2thin white pads,1 blue, 1black and 1 green thicker pads cheers

Ditch the white and black pads and replace for blue, the white ones just restrict flow.
