Jewel Rekord 600 Filter

iam going to be setting up my new Jewel Rekord 600 soon theres a built in filter/pump in a black box at right hand corner of tank, it has small vents at bottom and top of it,should these be kept clear?? i ask because iam planning building a small terrace with stone a raised portion in that corner

Hi, yes i would keep them clear . I have a juwel vision 180 and my filter box has intake vents at the bottom but on the right hand side facing the glass but it is different to the juwel rekord
