I did a lot of research on jewels before I purchased them. I have kept them in the past, but it was back when I thought a "pair" was any two random fish. The info I came across said that females are redder, rounder and have a smaller gill spot. However, some other information I've come across has said that they are very difficult, if impossible to sex.
So, here are my pics. I would guess that the rounder one is the female and the thinner one is the male, but now I am not sure. Any thoughts and help would be great.
Thanks,
Kristin
