Jewel Cichlids

i have ordered a breeding pair of cichlids for my 55g tank. i also got them a house to go into but i want to know what else these fish need i have always wanted thm and now i think i have jumped into the deap end are these fish easy to keep or do they need extra tlc any help would be helpful

well, unfortunately you aren't off to a very auspicious start... somehow this post showed up in bettas; you want to post under "African Cichlids"

secondly, i hope you weren't planning on having any tank mates in there with that breeding pair. jewels are apparently little death machines when they've got babies.
