What can u put with:

1x JD,
2x Common Plecos,
1x Female Convict,
2x Severums,
1x Chocolate cichlid.

i havent got a clue wt to put in with them help please.

Ah that changes things lol! I was expecting a 4ft! Try putting in some more decor (just enough for some destinct teratories). You could try Sengal or Palmas Bichirs, Ropefish, Larger barbs like B. aurilis, large anabantoids like climbing perch and spotted climbing perch, Synodontis sp., Distichodus sexfasciatus, Silver dollars, Red rainbow fish.

I'd go for silver dollars just to fill out the tank some but not fill it up, if you get me. To make it look like there's more going on - that's what I mean!

I've got rainbows (boesmanni not reds) in my tank, and they're great fun - but as they're fairly new to me, I dont know how they'd cope with more aggressive cichlids. But my silver dollars never got hurt by my oscar or vieja (they're too quick!), so they should be fine :)

But rainbows are really pretty...barbs would be nice too - I bet dennison barbs aka red line torpedo barbs would be ok - they're quick and can get to 15cm - and they're very popular ;)

thanks for all these options, i love rainbows i have 1 lol lovely things.

i never knew u can put a JD in a 4FT?

Tank length is important but when reffering to tank size you should state gallons. Yes a four foot 50 gallon tank or more would be suitable for a JD.

oh it would be boreing to put a JD in a 4ft but it self as the tank wont be able to stock anything else lol
