Is the liquid used in these test kits or for that matter any of the other Co2 test Toxic   I can't find any list of ingredients on packaging or in the instruction booklet (other than keep out of the reach of children) just wondered if ever the circumstances arose what measures would be required if it found its way into the aquarium water.

Is it the blue to green indicator? If so, I've never had any trouble when mine leaked into my tanks.

The best thing to do if any did find its way into your tank would be a nice big water change.

I once managed to let go of a drop checker whilst removing it from my tank and the solution mixed with my tank water, immediatly did approx 80% water change and did not have any issues with my fish or plants.
