Well i recently wanted to add a nice carpeting type of affect to my planted tanks. I got a small driftwood piece and layed it out really nice and tried to tie it down with the thread you sow with. I hope my fish do not destroy it. Most of them are just small tetras and some small gouramies such as neon dwarf's. I have been working really hard to aquascape my tank for the last year at a very slow process since i work and am going to college taking up almost all my time. I hope someone can offer me advice.

It takes forever doesn't it!!!! I'm two years on and still aquascaping

The only speedier process of getting your moss to root would be to buy it already done.. What ideas are you currently working on? got any pics?

At the moment i do not have pics but i am working on covering my driftwood and several medium size rocks with it. I finally have the aquascaping i want on my first planted tank. Took many months to get it this heavy planted and the plants have grown so much since i started. I get almost all my plants from the petland discounts i work in(I know the store sucks aquarium wise). But actually we stock pretty healthy fish in my store as opposed to other petland discounts who are horrible. I am in the one located in Chelsea area of Manhattan. I can get maybe 5-8 plants for less than 20 dollars. So thats extremely cheap. I also got a few fish from there and since i am the one in charge of all the tanks i know which are the healthiest and best. They have very cheap prices on their fish and today i got 2 female German Blue Rams pretty cheap. They are currently being quarantine as i do with all my new fish. But they have great color and appear to be very healthy. Working there is convenient to my fish tanks as i get all fish foods 30% off. Luckily they carry the Hikari brand which is what i mostly use.
