Added more Java’s to my big tank. Used a rubber band to attach them to a vertical acrylic rod. I did it this way to maximize bottom sand area for my catfish & cichlids.

Yes, I do! I put in a big order this morning actually! Those are massive, almost makes me wish I didn’t order the standard ones!

Well I have a buyer for my old tank (55 gallon), and I am using the money from that to fund my 40 gallon with the axolotls (it’s in my “double tank journal” thread)l I shopped around for good deals for so long, I have a decent budget for plants. I also sold a lady 3 of my old filter sponges for $25 because they were cycled.

I like this one better than the Microsorum pteropus i ordered from them last time. About twice as tall, if not more. Can’t recall price difference now.

I have a big order coming in Tuesday from the Aquarium Plants Factory in California. Ten anubias & several red plants. Looking like the reds were a mistake. People are telling me they require intense lighting & CO2 injection. So they may be doomed. That CO2 looks complicated.

Interesting! If I recall, it is only a $3 price difference. I ordered 2 of the microsorum pteropus for my axolotl tank and 2 for the 20 gallon. Maybe I should have got the larger ones for the 40 gallon...

Co2 sounds soooo complicated. I have had great success with red Ludwigia, but I do have high ish lighting

just saw this Thor’s Hammer Java fern. I like the full look. They have several varieties. They buy them from wholesalers & don’t grow any. I had a order delayed and complained . Hate it when they give me a tracking number and the item doesn’t ship until days later. The guy said his grower was out of the ones I wanted. All other orders came fast.

It is very ruffley looking! That is very interesting. Do they grow anything themselves? This will be my third time ordering from them.

Not from what this guy said in the email. He said he was waiting for plants to be shipped to him.

Same here, 3 orders. Good thing they are in a state near mine.
