Java Moss?

i have just bought some bits of marsh wood which look similer to this ...

im planing on getting some java moss to go on it, im just wondering how would i go about attaching the java moss to the wood? And is there anything i need to do to the wood before it goes in the tank.

it's worth giving the wood a soak and a scrub before adding it to the tank to get rid of any debris and reduce any tanin release (unless you want the tanin obviously...)

best bet for attaching the moss is some clear nylon, fishing line works well

You could also use just normal cotton sewing thread, in theory this will rot away with time once the moss has attached.
