Java Moss

I have bought some today , Ill trim it often, but will it still overtake my tank?

And does the trimmings sprout onto something else and grow too? I hope not

It doesnt grow that quick i had a massive bunch and it has hardly gorwn at all and it is over a year old.

It shouldnt take over your tank. It looks very nice when it has plenty of light, CO2 and nutrients.

Hhhmm interesting, what are your stats? (lighting, Co2 injection, nutrients)

thx, I dont use the c02 injection(perhaps someday) my friend has moss without the co2 setup and its doing rather well, Ill try it anyway , if it doesnt grow then ill take it out, mine is attached to some slate w/ thin rope and is placed in the sand. It has lots of light and airstone, plus, my filter and the fish owner said u can have java moss without a co2 setup , altho the co2 injection would make it grow faster

I have java moss in both my tanks, one with C02 and one without, the moss grows faster in the one with the c02, but still grows rather well and looks really healthy in the one without.
