well brought some java moss off ebay, tied it to my bog wood with fishing line and all seems well apart from the odd piece falling off.but when will it start to grow on to my wood so i can take the line off?i heard it was slow growing but not too sure.thx in advance. :D

I'm not sure if it roots onto the wood or not. I think the fishing line will biodegrade after a while anyway by that time it should be surrounding the wood, but not entirely sure. Hope it works for you.

oldwhitehood is correct, fishing line will not break down in your tank. The java moss should attach itself after about 2-3 weeks I've heard. If you use a dark thread instead of the line it should break down over time!

ok thanks.im going to leave the line on for the time being as its been on there for nearly 2 weeks so im not going to disturb it now and i will just cut the line off in 2 weeks or so.thx for the help.
