So I've got some java moss, for Alfies tank.. but I've realised I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it

Should it be pinned down to the bottom? Left to float around randomly? Or something else??
There seems to be a fair size clump of it too.. how much would be suitable for a 25 litre/5.5 gallon tank?

Oh I am a numpty, at times -_-

Hi

With our java moss we rolled it into balls. About the size of golf balls. You can sort of flatten it out and put it over bogwood and rocks too :good: The balls stay on the bottom so no need to pin them down, oh and they take a lot of rolling between your palms :good:

You can tie it to a piece of wood, he would like that, or grow it a coconut shell, that may take a while though
You can let it float or if you squeeze the air out, it may sink but either way makes a nice place to hide

Why, thank ya very much folks :good:

I don't currently have any bogwood, though I'd like to get some. The only pieces I've managed to find so far, just seem to big for my tank. But I'll keep on looking!

I'll have a go with the balls thing (oo-err), and see what happens :good:

Have a look on ebay for smaller pieces of bogwood x

Fleabay? Don't waste the postage money. If you can find a bit in an LFS that's too big, just break it up - it'll probably still cost less than ebay
