I really like java moss in the tank as I think it is great for the corys and the my pearl gourami loves having a go at it too!

I have one piece of wood dedicated to it and have other wood with a good nubias nana and a java fern. I was wondering whether adding some of the moss to these would have a bad effect on the plants already there, given that they are not supposed to have their rhizome covered and that moss grows and spreads really fast?

I've noticed that some woods have these combined which some places sell - has anyone got nay expereince of this and the moss suffocating the other plant?

The moss wouldnt be a problem as long as it is kept from covering the other plants. It doesnt seem to bother my ferns and it looks nice with other plants.
