Whats the best way of attaching it to bogwood?

cotton?

Fishing line?

Superglue? (Think i saw this in another thread)

And what do you tie down, the actual roots or the stems?

Thanks.

I've tried a few ways, best so far seems to be superglue (I used the superglue gel).

do not recomend that one!!!!

fishing line
newer use dental floss

but surely glue is a toxin, and i cannot believe its safe to use in water with fishes even after it dries.

I would never use I would not be able to go to sleep :)

Regards

Cyanoacrylate glues (which most superglues are) cure instantly on contact with water. Reefers use them all the time, apparently.

If you can get a rubber band around the feature you want to attach to, that works too. Attaching at the rhizome will let the plant keep growing as it had, but strapping down a leaf will eventually make the plant form new rhizomes from the leaf-- you will get small 'plantlets' sprouting from it.
