Hey all,

My Java Ferns seem to have roots growing out of the tips of the leaves?! I'm guessing this is part of the reproduction of the plant, but, um, any tips would be great... like, when do i replant them, do i have to cut them off etc?!

Cheers,
Luke

Its the plants way of reproducing, given time where those roots are will grow a new plant, which when big enough can be taken of and planted :)

I usually just leave them be and eventually the new plant sucks the life from the leaf its on. It's at this point, when the "mother leaf" turns brown and dead that i remove the new plant and plant it on a rock or wood
