Java Fern Plantlets

Hi,
My Java Ferns have loads of plantlets on each leaf which are now about 1cm in length. What I want to know is, should I leave them there or pick them off. Also, if I leave them there, are they likely to break off on their own and colonies my tank. If this happens, I will end up with a huge fern nursery lol.

Leave them. Aventually they will come off when they are at an ok size (2inches). You will probably see some plantlets swirling round your tank but they wont root that quickly to stuff so you can just pick them out and do what you want with them.

Thanks for the reply RadaR. Just had a proper look and to be honest, I got the size wrong. Looks like they may be coming off as they are about 2cm long. So I will keep an eye out for them.
