So.. since the only thing my goldfish can't dig up is java fern.. I have a pan to place large amount in my goldfish tank after upgrading my lights a bit to give me a better WPG (those plans include a 32watt light strip and more power full bulb for my exisiting lights. this will give me 2.1 wpg. y question is.. will Java fern grow fast enough to keep algea off of itself? 
and how fast will it grow? where can i get it real CHeap in the US? like beloew or equal to $2 for plant?
