Java Fern New Plants

If i want to take the younger plants off the leaves of the old ones do I clip a peice of the old leaves?

Probably easier to take the whole leaf off. It keeps the mother plant looking nice and the plantlets have something large to hang onto. You could also leave them on as they will eventually detatch themselves.
