Has anyone any first hand experience of keeping jaguar catfish (Liosomadorus oncinus)? If so, can you relate your experiences please? I'm especially interested in how you had your tank set up. And their behaviour.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't kept this one yet, but have had false jaguars and several others in this family and genus. They all act about the same. they require at least a 55 gallon tank that has lots of wood hiding places. It is prmarily nocturnal and will be rare to see during the day. It eats brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, cut up market shrimp, and blood worms. Tanks mates should be larger than its mouth, but not very aggressive as the catfish has no way to defend itself. Also heres planetcatfish.com's link to them.
