I've got an 80 gallon right now with a midas hybrid and oscar in it. I've been wanting some kind of bottom dweller because... well.... because I'm used to seeing something at the bottom, lol. I recently discovered jaguar catfish and fell in love, but one couldn't go in my tank, could it? My oscar is a pussycat, and my midas is fairly non-aggressive as far as midas go... she's female and pretty much ignores anything on the bottom of the tank.
I'd love to have a jaguar catfish, but if it wouldn't work out I suppose I'll have to wait until I get a 55 gallon :look:

If given a secure daytime hiding place a jaguar catfish (Liosomadoras onicus) could be added to your tank. They are strictly nocturnal and grow to around 12 inches so should be safe from damage by the Cichlids.
