Jade's Dying =(

I have had my betta for about 3 months and about 3 weeks ago she started acting funny, swimming with her fins together and stuff. But then I did a water change in her tank and she started acting normal again. I went home for a week so I brought her with me and she was fine there but when we came back to school she started swimming funny again and hiding all the time. Today has been really sad. She has been trying to swim around but she only makes it like half way up the tank before weightlessly falling sideways down to the bottom. I don't know what to do, if there is anything I can do at all.

It could be swim bladder, maybe you accidentally fed her too much?

Sorry to hear that What sort of tank is she in? If she has no filter, she'll need very regular water changes. If in doubt, a water change of up to 50% is never a bad idea. Does she have a heater? Is she still eating?

I just did a water change about an hour ago. I'm not sure if it will help. She is in a 2.5 gallon, no filter with a heater. She stopped eating about two days ago. At first she would try and then spit it out but now she just ignores it.

I've had 2 females on antibiodics for 2 months with swim bladder disease. Everything I read says it's pretty much incurable. They are in 2 inches of water so they don't have to stress themselves trying to swim to the surface. That's all I can do. I hope your female doesn't have it.
