Jack Dempsey Help Please

Can anyone tell me why my Jack Dempsey is swimming upside down? He will flip over the right way and his tail will start going towards the top of the tank and he will be back upside down.

Need to no water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph, what size tank, how many fish and which type, does he look bloated, any pineconing of the scales, sounds like swim bladder, is the fish eating if so try some shelled peas and daphnia.

Tank is a 40 gal. Water stats are perfect. This is only with the 1 fish. I have a smaller dempsy in the tank but she is perfectly healthy. He was eating this morning...I will try the peas. Thanks.
