I've got crabs...

4 red crabs that is.... one for each of mybetta tanks...

After much discussion I have decided that I am going to have to take them back as People have told me of them killing fish and constantly trying to escape which doesnt sound good for my betta tanks...

A shame, but I'd rather keep bettas than crabs with full stomaches...

Please keep an eye out for your bettas attacking the crabs eyes, had to remove mine for the crabs rather than the bettas safety.

apparently they get to about 2" in diameter, not too big. Anyway I took them back the day after I got them and got a lovely betta instead.

i wanna get one to jsut hav in a 5 gallon by it self, there so cool.

In a 5 gallon you would only be able to fit 1 or 2.

Maybe have a couple of danios or tetra in a 5G with them aswell?

i had one of those and he (she?) never was any threat to my betta, except when the betta got greedy and tried to steal crabby's pellet...but sadly i looked in the tank yesterday and couldn't find the crab. he ended up getting out and i found him under my bed all dried up. too bad, he was pretty cool- but a great escape artist.
