I've got another pregnant fish!!!

HI, ok i've already got 16 platy fry in a breeder net but today i bought some guppies and one of the females is pregnant too. If i wanna save a few fry will they be ok with the platy fry in the breeder net?

My tank will be too small too keep them all so i'll end up picking the best few and giving them to my LFS where i work.

They should be fine, depending on the size of the Platy fry. I have had Guppies and Platies together before, and it worked out fine. Just make sure you give them enough food.

i'm never 100% sure if they're eating enough. I try to always give them a lot of brine shrimp but some brine shrimp passes through the net before they can catch it.

I was gonna go with the crushed flake food but i can never crush it good enough!

Hmmm.

Well, it doesn't have to be like powder, just pretty small. I usually take it between two fingers and crush it as I put it in the tank. Seems to work well...my fry have always grown up pretty strong! Also, you could try Hikari First Bites. They are small enough for fry in the package.
