I've got £50 to spend at Trimar...

So what should I get? My fish are listed in my sig (sorry mods, know it's over spec). My tanks are:

Juwel Rio 180L with juwel internal filter & heater plus Eheim ecco 2226, undergravel heating (currently growing a fine crop of algae), a few plants, some wood and some pots to hide in.

Juwel Rio 125L with juwel internal filter and heater plus Eheim ecco 2226, CO2 and lots of plants and rocks (and nice blue/green slimey algae...might hafta pull all the plants out and re-do when apisto fry grow up)

Clearseal 120L with internal filter and heater and Eheim Ecco 2234, 3' bubble wall, CO2, LOTS of plants, some wood, some rocks/pots etc.

Juwel Rekord 60 (55L) with Juwel internal filter and heater, some lava rock, mossballs and about 1/2 a tonne of Java Moss!!!

I was thinking ..... move the fish around so I get a 'spare' tank and make it a Cichlid tank... couple of electric yellows (labs?? I'm not very technical) and something blue...Blue Gourami or would blue dolphin (cyrto moori?) go?

I've got half a bootful of broken slate paving slabs in my car, could get the lump hammer out and make an aquatic rockery for the cichlids.....

i've been looking at www.trimar.co.uk all week and trying to decide what to do...cichlids? a few more barbs? more apistos? ... blinking heck!!! i dunno!!!!

WOW Nice tanks Sarah, I will have some of that java moss think you have my address? if not pm me and will send it.

I would love to do a rift lake tank, thats my next project when I can afford an 8' tank I would do dwarf cichlids, or how about an oddball tank? Couple of dwarf puffers or make it brackish and go for Figure 8's or a Green spotted puffer.

Whichever you choose, I'd say don't touch the Clearseal 120. That one looks fantastic.

I've also PM'd you about the Java Moss Haven't been able to find it anywhere locally!

Okay, what about this?

Split everything that's in the 180 litre into the other 3 tanks.

In the 180L then take out the plants and add slate to create caves and territories

Buy from Trimar:

3 cherry shrimp £10
4 caradina shrimp £7
2 Moonlight gourami £3.99 each
2 electric yellows £3.99 each
3 blue dolphins £3.99 each

Will this combo work? What loach/plec type fishes will go?

sounds like a good idea.

Use the stuff in the 180 to re-aquascape the 125 and/or the juwel and do as you say with the 180. I don't know enough about the fish to comment on them though
