I've found something strange in my tank!!!!

okay...here goes...

Im v. worried! i was just checking my tank tonight before going to bed..... and to my horror theres this thing that looks to be floating around on the top of my tank.... the best discription i can come up with is: (my camera cant focus on it at all)

red.... either a curled up worm or possibly a snail with a transparet shell...its definately moving.....probably about 2/3mm in size

first i thought it could be a deformed fry...or maybe a egg....but i'm pretty convinced that its not..... so it a snail/ baby snail but if it is how could it have got into my tank.... it does have live plants but i havent bought any recently (probably at least 3/4 weeks)...the only scenerio i could come up with is that maybe a snail egg came with the plants and hatched in my tank? which i guess means i could have more??? or its some kind of parasite???

please, please, please help

if it even slightly resembles a snail, it probably is...especially if it has a shell

picture? it might just be snail I have them everywhere normally until I put 5x loaches into my 25g and now they were no where to be found again.
