im thinking of getting a cory would that be ok with a betta?

They do tend to get on with Cories but in that size they wouldn't be suitable as they need alot of space and need to be kept in groups of at least 3 or 4.

My betta was fine for a while with the corries, they even shoaled together for a while.

Don't know what happened but he then started chasing them round the tank, gradually getting more aggresive.

It was when I isolated him I realised how much happier the corries were without him, I bit the bullet and got him a new tank.

depending on the temperament of the betta and the tank size, cories, endlers, rasboras.
