Hi
Just before christmas my guppy had babys, i had bought a hatchery from eBay big enought for two fish, However when i put her in it, and she had the little ones, to my amazment the babys came stright out of the slits at the side. I managed to find a old small hatchery i had years ago and saved two, the other escaped in the tank, A few hours later i noticed some hiding behined the filter and heaters at the top of the tank i tried to net them but they were to quick, the next day i bought baby fish food and a large silk plant and introduced it to the tank the babys started to hide in it after two week i let the other two out of the hatchery now i have seven babys swimming around the tank. I am glad i read this topic because i have only been feeding them twice a day i did not know you had to feed them four times is this true? Ivor

You can feed them just twice, however for them to be the healthiest and grow well, 4-6 times is best for the first few months. :)

It shouldn't, as long as you don't overfeed and you keep up on your water changes. :)
