Iv been contemplating for a year now &...

..Im thinking of gettin a couple of disscus fish..

My tank size is -

Width - 80cm - 31.5inches
Hight - 40cm - 16inches
length (3D =/ ) - 30cm - 12inches

----

I have -

2 pearl gouramis
1 angel fish
1 platty
1 pleco
1 kissing gourami
1 colombian tetra
1 penguin tettra
1 female betta

I was thinkin of getting them after my angel fish and pearl gouramis eventualy go, or something...

Any ideas...

Discus need really good water conditions and are very supseptible to diseases. Also I'm not exactly sure your tank is big enough for discus but if your tank is 55 gallons then maybe. Also if you do Discus like to be in groups.You might want to get more tetras as they like to school. An ideasl discus tank is a large tank 70+ with as KEN would suggest Apistos as the bottom feeders and with rummynose or other tetras in a school.
