Nice!!! How long is he if you happened to measure him? And what type exactly?(mine is Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus)

Lovely pleco, thanks for updating with pictures. Yours has less than 10 rays on the dorsal fin so it's not from the Pterygoplichthys family and probably doesn't grow as big as them either. The Hypostomus types are mostly less than 30cm(11-12 inches) max.

Actually no, he has 10 or more rays, my bad He is from the Pterygoplichthys but looks different than mine.

red tail is about same approx 5 yr old. he rules the tank. only slightly aggressive at feeding time to other fish.
