Ok, I'll admit it...I am Guilty...IM A NEWBIE!!! I am also a very unexperienced newbie...yes I said it...UNEXPERIENCED! I bought a tank, and evrything i needed to get started....Didn't read up on the hobby...Didnt even consider it a hobby...but just got into my new apartment and figured, oh a fish tank would look beautiful here. -_- Little did I know.... The money that was involved, the time, the effort...Oh MY GOODNESS the list goes on and on....Here is a pic of my tank....which I though was beautiful.....

...yea I said was...because I jmped into everything, not knowing anythin...And these snails came out of no where, and I later found out my fish died from "ich" because I hadn't treated the water properly. GO figure..... But now I am willing to take the time and effort to do everything I have to do...I just need help.... I have been told...I didnt cycle, and things like that...but what those things are..or how to do them...I am clueless. I will read all of the newbie forum posts....So long...I am on a mission!

:hi: to the forum.

Well, they say admission is greatest step to solution, so you're well on the way to a fine tank. At least you've learned from your mistakes (perfectly understandable - I did the same :*) ) and are now reading up.

Good luck for the future, and let us all know how you get on

Welcome to TFF, Mixed Dreamz! Most of us here have probably been in your shoes, but you are on the road to success now that you are here. Lots of good experience on this board, keep reading the posts, feel free to ask as many questions as you need, soak up as much info as you can...knowledge is power in this hobby!
What kind of fish do you think you want to be keeping?

I think I want to start a Community tank. I have not decided whether or not it will be a planted or not planted. I like the look of planted tanks but not sure if it is harder or not. But I will read up on them
